1905 - Fall
Sometimes i just really need to listen to some fucking screamo. This was one of my favorites back in the day. Mostly because i love it when women scream and sing sweetly in the same song.
LABYRINTH EAR - Walk On the Moon (Arthur Russell)
Here’s a fresh new treack form London-based duo Labirynth Ear. Download here.
Una canción que fluye con un Chelo repetitivo, donde luego entran unas congas sugestivas que combinan perfecto con los coros de Emily quién hace parte de este duo Londinense. Disfruten esta buena canción.
Lust lust lust! I heard a labyrinth ear song playing at Gjelina when we had dinner there a month ago and I said “Oh my god! I thought I was the only one who knew about them” :)
There are currently a few Pedro Almodóvar films on netflix instant right now.
Live Flesh (Carne Treumula)

I had forgotten about - I hadn’t seen it in YEARS. I forgot how lovely it is. There are lots of really fantastic “winks” throughout the film. There are certain directors that really love to play with the viewer - Almodvar is one of them. Look for intentionally placed stars, crosses, specific songs, etc - one of my favorite things is the rug in the shooting house that looks just like a bullseye. Anyway, it’s a fantastic film and you should watch it. Besides, I know you bitches love Javier Bardem and he’s young and fresh in this one.

I won’t candy-coat it, this movie is sad. Watch it when you want to have a cry, ok? But Penelope Cruz just shines in this film. She is very obviously Almodovar’s muse.
And if you haven’t seen Bad Education or Volver, just do yourself a favor and put those DVDs in your queue or rent them. I promise you won’t be disappointed. His films are highly charged, sexual, tongue-in-cheek and smart.

Metric - Calculation Theme
As though it were easy for you to lead me
I could be passive gracefully…
tonight my ghost will ask your ghost…who put these bodies between us?
HOLY MOUNTAIN, 1973
Woods - “Rain On”
One of my favorite songs/albums of this year. And I think it might even be better acoustic.
